Welcome RB! Hey, you know we could set this up as a poll. I think if you try to edit your first post you can add a poll.

How old is old? Where is the cut off line for men? How about women? Can it be moved up or down and sideways? Who knows?
We could probably graph this like a supply/demand curve or use some kind of regression curve...I’m not sure what the formula is : )
In the west, if one crosses the line, all they get is a look and a nod of the head, as if to say: “poor thing, does not realize he or she is dead.” If, however one even dares to approach it, let alone to crossit in the east, the whole town, including the family, friends, neighbors shopkeepers and even beggars in the streets, will tackle you to the ground for such an act of gross impropriety.
Can you clarify this? What does it mean/look like to “cross the line” - does that just mean becoming old? So, like one day you wake up and all your wrinkles have blossomed and then you go out for a walk and a beggar sees you with your wrinkles and he tackles you to the ground? I didn’t know this happened in Iran. This explains so much.
