Hi there… I’m not too sure if you can help me out, but I am in search of some Persian Kareoke cd’s but am not sure if there even is such thing… can you please let me know if they infact exist and where I could come across them?

Kind regards,

G.

Well, you have just opened up a can of worms.  There is nothing I want to see more than Persian Karaoke.  Well, that’s not true.  There are plenty of things I want to see more.  But I do want to see persian karaoke.  i have no idea if anyone is working on this, but it is on my wishlist.

coincidentally, a friend of mine sent me a link for getting a region free dvd player

which is very useful overseas.  We have dvd’s to play from so many countries.  Annoying that they try to restrict you to one region.  Then again, intellectual property rights are an issue.

What I like about this dvd player is it includes a karaoke function.  So you can get karaoke disks and play them on the player.  Too cool!

This implies that there must be software out there to create and burn karaoke disks and that a person who wants to make Persian karaoke can simply get this software, get the music (and make sure you pay for the rights!) and then put in the karaoke extras, I guess type in the words.  I doubt the karaoke software out there has persian type, but maybe if it’s windows based…

It seems like this is something within reach.

Well, an initial search on google under “how to make a karaoke dvd” reveals many websites.  Here is but one that sells software:  http://www.karaokebuilder.com/

Does it work?  Are there better ones?

I would like to make sure that karaoke software can type in persian.  You should have the option of reading the text in both English and persian (choose, switch, should have a channel for both).  Great tool for language and reading skills.  Plus singing and making a fool of yourself in public.  All things that I endorse!
